Welcome to my World
I would like to welcome to my world after my Roux 'N Y surgery. It has a been journey I will never forget. I have met some very interesting and supportive people along the way. If you have had the surgery or know of someone who has had the surgery I would love to hear from you. If I can be of support to someone, please just ask. I'll be here unless I'm gone.

This is my first entry into this blog. I am not sure what I will write here. I want to tell my story of my life after my gastric bypass. It has been a journey I will never forget. I weighed 317 pounds at my heaviest. I was miserable. I did not want to look into a mirror or my see my reflection in a window. When people passed me and looked at me with disgust I felt embarrassed and ashamed of what I let myself get to. Now at 175 pounds I have self esteem and feeling great about myself. In the next few post I will begin my journey to let others know what I went through. I may not start at the beginning. I am 61 years old and that would take up a lot of space and time. lol I am able to smile now and look at myself in the mirror. I can even cross my legs. :) If anyone does read this, please let me know what you think. I am an open book and willing to share my thoughts, my hopes, my dreams, and my concern for others who are going through the same thing I am. If I get too emotional, forgive me. I am just plain and simple and at my age I can say what I want. I deserve the right to. I earned it.
